We encourage all prospective clients to complete our Enquiry Form and come in and visit us at Mariposa Kids at any time. It is important that you enrol your child early and be placed on a waiting list if no immediate places are available.  Your child must be between 5 months and 5 years old and admission is at the discretion of the owner / centre manager.

Booking Fee of $100 is payable with your booking to cover administration costs. Once your child’s position is confirmed the first week’s fees are payable in advance.

Minimum Enrolment

Under 2 years – 3 days a week [a shorter period may be used while your child settles in]

Over 2 years – 3 days a week [we encourage parents of children over 4 years to book them in full time as this is an important time when we help them with their transition to primary school]

Over 3 years utilising Sessional Hours only – minimum of 3 days a week – limited spaces available.

Please discuss your requirements with us and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you select the minimum hours we recommend that this is for a limited period only and that you will benefit your child’s learning and development by extending these hours once they have settled in.

Payment – all fees are required to be paid by Automatic Payment weekly in advance. A detailed invoice will be issued every week.

Our Fees

20 Hours Subsidy – if your child is 3 years or older they are entitled to the 20 hour subsidy [conditions apply]. Funding rates for “20 hours” have been calculated to cover a minimum standard of care and education. Mariposa Kids offers a premium service well above minimum standards and our fees reflect a chargeable portion accordingly.  If you would like further information on the 20 Hours ECE initiative, we are happy to discuss this with you.

WINZ – you may also qualify for childcare support based on the level of income your family earns. We are familiar with the criteria and the forms that need to be filled out. There is also helpful information on whether you might qualify for childcare assistance on the Working for Families website – go to our helpful Links on the Parent Information page.
